My Family – The center of my world.
Katie and I have been married twenty-one years—we went to high school together and stayed connected through letters while I was deployed overseas. When I came home, our first date turned into forever. She’s got her degree in early childhood development, taught Sunday school preschoolers, and she’s the rock-solid mom who’s guided our kids—especially our daughter Emma—with endless patience and love.
We’ve got four incredible kids:
•  Emma, twenty, our warrior princess—loves roller coasters, waterslides, and flying on the four-wheeler. She has Emanuel syndrome, uses a walker and sign language to communicate, and she’s a total Daddy’s girl.
•  Kensey, nineteen, second-year at Norwich Military Academy—high school theater, boxing, cross country; top-eight in Miss Teen Minnesota. Now she’s in theater (led her freshman show), plus college rugby.
•  Noah, junior at Bagley High—loves theater and shoots on the trap team.
•  Jack, freshman at Bagley—football, wrestling, baseball; our family’s hunter and fisherman.
This crew keeps me grounded. They remind me every day why I strive for a safer community with real opportunities, and a future they can charge into.
